Each section can be opened individually — sections that are already open stay open, so if you like, you can have all of them expanded at once.
Granite combines natural beauty with strength and durability. Thanks to its dense structure, it withstands moisture, dirt and everyday use very well, and requires less maintenance than most other natural stones.
General care requirement: infrequent.
Regular cleaning and periodic impregnation help keep a granite surface clean, well protected and beautiful (see also impregnation).
Please note: granite is a very durable natural stone, but strong impacts can damage its surface or edges and cause chipping.
When cleaning granite, use only a soft cloth or sponge to keep the surface smooth and free of damage. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the stone's surface over time.
- For everyday care, warm water and a gentle cleaning product designed for natural stone are enough. After cleaning, dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth — this helps prevent water marks and streaks.
- Avoid vinegar, lemon juice, acidic cleaning agents, and all-purpose cleaning products that contain acids. Despite its durability, granite can be sensitive to unsuitable cleaning products, which may affect the appearance of its surface over time.
- We recommend removing any liquids (including coffee, oils, wine, juice, etc.) and other dirt from the granite surface as quickly as possible after spilling. Although granite's dense structure makes it highly resistant to dirt and moisture, prolonged contact can cause staining and make removal more difficult.
Thanks to its dense structure, granite is resistant to moisture, dirt and stains. However, no natural stone is completely stain-proof. We therefore recommend removing dirt and liquids from granite as quickly as possible, to preserve the stone's natural appearance and prevent dirt from potentially being absorbed into it.
To remove stubborn stains, use only cleaning products specifically designed for granite. If needed, contact us or consult a natural stone care specialist.
Granite should be treated with a protective product on average every 1–2 years, depending on how heavily the surface is used.
Impregnating a granite surface helps reduce the absorption of moisture and dirt. Keep in mind that although granite is inherently durable, regular treatment of the surface helps preserve its natural look and properties, and reduces the risk of damage and staining.
